doh, i didnt read that properly - i thought he was just asking if people leave them on.

So, it may be legal to ride without, but you'd be a fool to take em off, you're vulnerable enough without riding rearward-blind

Its not that its just one of mine has come off in an accident and i wantd to no was it ok for me to ride with one. Wuts the best thing to do it has taken a bit of my frame off, but its a clean break is it possible to stick back on or do i have to buy a new front frame??

Same thing happened to me a few months back mate, some bellend pulled out in front of me so i was wedged in between him and the central reservation, he went past and knocked my left mirror off. I like it so ive just left it off, i never used it anyway.
