Hi all

Can anyone help please...

I'm thinking of getting xenon bulbs for my bike....the K3, K4 and K5 have the H7 and H4 bulbs....but i have no idea and cant find which bulbs the K2 has...does anyone have any ideas?

Also...is it worth getting these bulbs? do they make much difference?

i had a brief chat with a mate and he suggested getting some HID kit or summit, but was sayin it costs quite a bit...

any thoughts would be apreciated...

Thanks

"giving the appearence of an expensive HID system"

you'd be better off getting some better standard bulbs, think the HID kits are normaly about ?200 if your useing the bike alot at night id still consider doing it, gives awsome light like your driveing in daytime!

HID kits have gone silly cheap, 60 quid delivered on ebay, BTW I heard there going to ban aftermarket HID's as they blind oncoming traffic, really do give off too much glare.

Those blue bulbs are rubbish, they'll still be yellowish light, there bollocks.

I got these for my bike - Would love HiD but its a bit too expensive for me atm.

They are 50% more on the box but 60% on the bulbs base.

Below is with the standard bulbs in: Quite a yellowish light

Below is with the Xenons in giving a more white light.

Difference dont look that much different in the day but at night its immense compared to the stock bulbs I was running.
The light also stretches out a lot futher: Id say things start to get a bit difficult to see 25m - 30m away over my old bulbs and the light is a lot whiter than stock.

no idea where Im going to put those boxes yet, sure i'll find somewhere, I got the 5000k, (4300k are brightest ones, and those are pure white), the higher the colour temp the more blue /purple it gets, but less brighter aswell.

you just plug and play, no wire cutting etc as it says, best thing is they last longer than normal bulbs and drain less battery!

Its all well and good having them, they had a write up about them in one of the mags a few months back, but there was f*ckall room to stash the boxes as they need to be really close to the lights, Ie they have to be mounted behind the front fairing somewhere or under the tank....

Yeh it would be easy to do on mine or yours rene because the fronts are so wide and theyre is f*ckall behind the front fairings, but on summit like Vsenna's bike it would be hard, or UK billeh's because its got plastic covering everything and the lights etc are alot bigger.
