i am looking at buying this zx4. it is in need of tlc. went to look at it today the brakes were seized on it. the ckutch is gummed up and the thing would not start as flatt battery.

he wants 1000 for it i think it is only worth ?700 at the most would you agree

Couldn't get to pics, but sounds like its not worth the hassel, not even for ?700. If all it needs is the brakes rebuilt, new battery and the clutch sorting, then you'd think they would fix them for the sake of a working bike adding ??? to the sale, so ask yourself why havent they?
You can get a good condition one for a tad over a grand. Save up a bit and get a working one that won't be a money pit.

That is a laser one rene, standard was the same throughout the life of the ZXR's.
