It's true there is no such thing.
The ZXR 400 is a nice bike. Low seat hight and a the power delivery is similar to a stroker, not massive amounts of torque but a nice power band from 10k ish to redline, very flickable yet planted in the corners - a dry weight of 159kg with 65bhp (L model)helps. They sound sweet being an il4 and have one of the highest top speeds (in their class) of around the 130 - 140 mph mark, 0-60 around 4.5 secs.
H model produced from '89 - '90. L model produced from '91 - '99.
Others I'd consider when buying a 400 are: Honda vfr/ RVF.

L was produced until 2003, they just stoped doing updates on it in 1999.
They are good bikes if you dont buy a sh*tter like i did lol.

is there anything to look out for. the throttle cable is snapped and needs new batt apart from tht im sure it will be fine. it can only be better than my italian rs lol. soz i meant to say zxr400 i cant post pics on here but i will put them on a website and give you guys the link tell me what you think ?

tell him to buy a battery and throttle cable, then if u like it add that onto price.

idea generally is you get it for cheap because it dont work!

when i got my vfr all she needed was battery charging and a few bumps up and down the road and she was away
