Hey everyone.
I v been looking around on the site a bit and talking to people who know of upgrading 125 cc bikes. So I came across something that really surprised me in the mito forum. They have 250 and 350 cc mitos , I think there is even a 500 2 stroke mito.

I know a guy here in town who has a 250 mito. He simply bought a mito 125 second hand from ebay with 11 kw papers. Insured it as an 11 kw ( so you can drive it from 18 let s ignore for a minute that this is a bit illegal and assume it s for track use only or whatever ) took the engine out and bought a second hand 250 cc engine and a bigger exhaust (from ebay again ) for like 700 bucks. And he just fiited the 250 engine in ( probably with some difficulties though ) and there he was. now he owns the fastest 125 ( actually 250 but you could never tell ) cc bike in town.
I would like to hear from you guys whether or not you think it is possible to buy a second hand 250 or 350 2 stroke or even 4 stroke engine and fit it into the derbi gpr.
What kind of engine would you need? Would a cheap 250 cc from a crashed ktm cross bike ( saw one on ebay today for 450 euros ) do trick ? What modifications would be required ?
Please share your thoughts on this with me guys as I think this topic can intrest a lot of people and might make our bikes real f*cking fast
