i get paid ÂŁ900 a month from work, but cos i started 2 months ago they owe me 1800 cos the bank wouldnt put my pay in cos the company i work for had got my sort code wrong, so i told em to pay me 2 months pay this month :p

so im getting a relly cheap cbr for ÂŁ350 off my mate who crashed it, im sorting it out, and making it faster with a cbr150 bottom end and 250cc kit which ima get off amracing

1. That fairing wont fit with your headlights

2. That's not a 2004 dash, that's the 07 on FI model dash

(3. that arrow system is not for a CBR125)

In answer to your question yes it could work, anything can work with enough cash, knowledge and effort. It will not be easy though, you will have to fabricate mounts, fabricate some sort of fill in panel to go around it, make up all the wiring to fit it and mount sensors to feed it. The biggest problem will be that the 2004 CBR has a mechanically driven speedo so you have no way of getting a digital signal.

Realistically, if you're asking on here if it can be done then I very much doubt you have the knowledge to do it yourself. So that leaves the paying somebody else to do it, which will cost a fortune due to the work involved.

My personal opinion, massive waste of money.

sorry about inaccurate pics lol i was tired and in a rush to get this thread up

what is it that makes the digital one work?
wouldnt i just be able to get that part then fit it and get the sensor from a 2011 model and solder it to the 2004 wiring loom?

i heard its a really small magnet or something and a sensor received the magnetic field of it then works out the speed its spinning at by the circumferance of the wheel and the ammount of times it spins in a second,(i know its less time than that -.- ) thats just a guess,

at another guess, if it is that then it should be posible?? by getting the magnet and the sensor and soldering them to a seperate peices of wire then adding it to the start of the loom which comes from the battery??

Yeah, printout or GTFO.

The Malossi kit has been proven to get bhp to no more than 17rwbhp and Arrow system adds no more than 1bhp. Can your mates dyno say a gsxr600 with an end can can get 200bhp too lol?

Does sound like bullsh*t tbh but if you can prove it fair play.

we both couldnt beleive it either, he has a pic of the printout on his phone but he doesnt have a cable to put it onto a pc and he gave the actual printout to the customer or i would show the printout

they put a upgraded carb on it, bigger jets, the 170 malossi kit
and cos it was a new barrel and piston it had 15bhp when it wasnt run in, so they gav him it back and told him to bring it back after a few weeks and they woud work on the carb etc to get most power they could, so they fiddled with the jets and eventully got 27bhp,

i havnt seen the originaal printout but i have seen a picture, and it reached full power at 9500-10krpm and didnt even start to kick in before 4krpm

i thought it was amazing but true, ill try get a copy of th printout next time my mates boss isnt there cos he isnt allowed to reprint em without permission, his boss can be a bit of a pr*ck
